POTSDAM -- The Potsdam Volunteer Rescue Squad will be collecting scrap metal donations at 29 Elm St. on April 18 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and April 19 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Containers will be in the rescue squad parking lot.
They will collect brass, copper, aluminum, steel and more.
No garbage will be accepted.
Proceeds benefit the Potsdam Rescue Squad in buying new equipment, training, administrative costs and rescue gear. There will be help available to unload.
