POTSDAM -- Potsdam United Methodist Church, 26 Main St., will host an eight-session study on the Gospel of Mark, beginning at 7:30 a.m., Wednesday, July 6.
The sessions will be led by Rev. Brooke Newell, pastor of the church.
Study books will be available at the church.
"The Gospel of Mark is the shortest of the four Gospels, and you are encouraged to try to read it in one sitting before the first class,” Rev. Newell said. “The first class will be on chapter one of the study book, The Foundation of the Gospels so please read the chapter ahead of time if you can."
RSVP to the church office, 265-7474, by July 5. Participants do not need be present each week, but are asked to join the sessions whenever they can.
