POTSDAM -- Potsdam United Methodist Church, 26 Main St., will celebrate Holy Week and Easter with several events.
On Thursday, April 21, a 30-hour fast to raise funds to ease world hunger begins at noon. The fast ends at 6 p.m. on Good Friday, April 22 with a simple meal.
Easter Sunday, April 24, begins with Easter Sunrise Service at 6 a.m. on the front lawn of the church. After worship, at 6:45 a.m., Easter breakfast will be served downstairs in the church. Juice, coffee, breakfast casseroles, muffins and fruit will be offered. All are welcome.
