POTSDAM -- The Potsdam Public Museum is offering a spinning and weaving program for area school and homeschooled children April 20, 21, and 22 at the museum, 2 Park Street, Civic Center.
The museum is asking for a one dollar donation from each student to help pay for the materials associated with the program. The one-hour program consists of a spinning demonstration with an opportunity to use a spindle and demonstration and opportunity to weave on the museum's collection of looms. Teachers and educators are asked to call the museum at 265-6910 to schedule a time for their students to visit the museum. The museum is open Tuesday - Saturday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. or visit us online at: www.potsdampublicmuseum.org
