POTSDAM — A Potsdam man was charged Thursday with fleeing an officer following a traffic stop for driving 85 miles per hour in a 30 mpg zone on Oct. 10, according to St. Lawrence County sheriff’s deputies.
John M. Ashlaw, 37, was charged with third-degree unlawfully fleeing a police officer, inadequate muffler (motorcycle), operating out of class, and speed in zone, officers said.
He was cited and released.
