POTSDAM -- The Potsdam Public Library is offering a variety of children's programming options this summer.
Three mini camps, featuring stories, crafts and activities for ages 5-10 will be held in the Cleveland Computer Center from 12:30-2 p.m. on July 9-12, Aug. 6-9 and Aug. 20-23. Children can take the bus from Potsdam Recreation at Pine Street Arena, but should pack a lunch. Registration opens July 2.
Other summer day camps are available in the area and the library is listing several options on its website at https://www.potsdamlibrary.org/content/local-summer-camps-and-programs.
The library is also organizing a read-at-home bingo program for local children which will allow them to earn a free book. A bingo-style game board will feature reading activity suggestions. Young readers who complete five in a row will choose a book from the library's prize cat.
Game boards will be available at the library or online at the library website starting June 25.
