POTSDAM -- The Board of Trustees, staff and Friends of the Potsdam Public Library will host an open house at the Potsdam Public Library, 2 Park St., on Sunday, Oct. 23 from 2 until 4 p.m.
The library will introduce newly appointed Director of the Library Annie Chase.
Chase, a North Country native, returns to Potsdam and the library having served as a law librarian at the University of Michigan Law Library. She was also the law library manager for the Detroit law firm of Honigman, Miller, Schwartz & Cohn. More recently, she has been working as a research attorney for the international legal consulting firm of Greenberg Traurig.
Meet Chase and enjoy light refreshments provided by the Friends of the Library. Library staff and members of the Friends will also be available to talk about volunteer opportunities.
