POTSDAM -- The United Methodist and First Presbyterian churches will hold a joint Thanksgiving service at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 20.
The service will be held at the Presbyterian church, 42 Elm St., with Rev. James E. Barnes II, pastor of the Methodist church, preaching.
Members of the choirs of both churches will sing the anthem "For the Beauty of the Earth," directed by Warren A. Potter, choir director at the Methodist church.
Presbyterian church organist Laura Toland will provide organ music and accompany the choir.
