CRANBERRY LAKE -- The whole family is invited to join a poker paddle July 28 from 1 to 4 p.m. to support the Town of Clifton Library.

Canoes, kayaks and non-motorized craft are welcome to glide along the meandering Oswegatchie River at Cranberry Lake, sponsored by the Cranberry Lake Boat Club.

The paddle starts at the Wanakena Beach or at any of the docks set up as poker paddle sites to get poker chips.

Registration forms and paddler packets are available at the Clifton Community Library, and www.cranberrylakeboat.club, and Otto’s Abode in Wanakena.

Paddlers finish up at The Pine Cone for snacks and a cash bar along with the opportunity to participate in over 20 raffles for unique handmade artisan pieces. People don’t have to paddle to participate.

Paddlers can pre-register for $10 per person. Those who wish to register without paddling can for a $20 per-person donation to the library.

Everyone who participates gets raffle tickets and can buy additional ones.

Info: Mary Simmons at polady8@yahoo.com or the Clifton Library 315-848-3256.
