POTSDAM – A 1950s rock and roll music show planned for July has been cancelled.
The show, planned by the Official Potsdam Charity Hankfest Group for Ives Park, was to have benefited the Boys and Girls Club of Ogdensburg.
Greg Bouchard of the Hankfest Group says the club will be added to the list of beneficiaries of the next annual Hankfest, scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 13 from noon to 6:30 p.m. at the gazebo in Ives Park.
Anyone who would like to volunteer to help with the Hankfest or become a sponsor for the Hank Williams tribute show can check the Official Potsdam Charity Hankfest Group on Facebook or call 244-2390. Contributions can be sent to PO Box 416, Potsdam, 13676.
