POTSDAM – “Pi Day” will be celebrated March 12 from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. at Bertrand H. Snell Hall on Clarkson University’s campus.
There will be over 30 games and activities set up, prizes and pizza pie.
Middle-school and high-school student groups are welcome.
For thousands of years, mathematicians have been fascinated by Pi, or 3.14, which is an irrational number which is unending.
In recent years, computer models have been able to extend it out to over a trillion digits.
