POTSDAM -- The St. Lawrence County Arts Council will offer in-person info workshops as well as on-line webinars about three different art funding opportunities.

A workshop will be held Sept. 4 from 6 to 7 p.m. for artists, arts organizations, local municipalities and public libraries.

The meeting will be at 41 Elm St., room 229. Admission is free.

Eligible arts disciplines include theater, dance, electronic media or film, visual arts, and literary arts.

Artists may apply for project funding. Community Arts, which has been active in the North Country since the 1980s, funds community art experiences; local municipalities, chartered public libraries, and non-profit organizations may apply.

All three of these grant programs will be discussed during each of the info workshops.

To register or to view grant guidelines for these programs, visit www.slcartscouncil.org or contact Suzy McBroom at 265-6860, arts@slcartscouncil.org.
