PARISHVILLE – Amvets Ladies Auxiliary 265 is sponsoring a five-mile walkathon Sept. 17 to benefit Hospice of St. Lawrence Valley, the Potsdam Animal Shelter, and dogs for handicapped people through Paws with a Cause.
Registration at the post, 5 Catherine St., begins at 9 a.m. The walk commences at 9:30.
The fee is $10. The first 50 registrants will get a commemorative T-shirt.
There will be snacks and prizes after the walk.
Sponsor sheets can be picked up at the post, or mailed to you if you call Michelle at 212-0469 or Diane at 265-4219.
