POTSDAM -- Anyone with cross-country skis that aren’t being used, an old bike, or other outdoor or sports gear in sellable condition, or those who might need or want equipment, can take advantage of an Outdoor and Sports Gear Sale on from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 16 at SUNY Potsdam’s Maxcy Hall Room G104.
NorthCountry350 Alliance is sponsoring the sale to promote reuse and raise funds for the group. Items for sale may be dropped off from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Items will be checked to ensure they are in good shape, current, and saleable.
A wide range of outdoor and sports gear will be accepted and available for sale, including any sports equipment, camping gear, outdoor clothing and footwear, snowshoes, and more.
Sellers should return between 3 and 3:30 p.m. to pick up payment from items sold and any unsold items. Participants will receive 75 percent of the selling price of items.
Maxcy Hall G104 is on the ground floor toward the back of the building. People may drive around to the back, park, and follow signs from the door.
North Country 350 Alliance is a local affiliate of the international 350.org, dedicated to finding positive solutions to climate change. For more information, see northcountry350.org or call Ginger Storey-Welch at 315-379-9564.
