HAMMOND -- Dairy farmer Liz Barden is hosting an organic dairy roundtable lunch discussion meetings to share their experiences and identify goals for the upcoming growing season.
The event will take place on April 11 from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Hammond Village Hall, 24 S. Main Street.
Fay Benson, a coordinator for the New York Organic Dairy Initiative will also share fact sheets, videos, online resources and contact info to help the participating farmers access the assistance of nutritionists, crop consultants and veterinarians with organic dairy industry expertise.
Lunch will be provided.
