WADDINGTON – The class “Introduction to Oil Painting” will be held at The Lake St. Lawrence Arts Gallery, 10 Main St., Wednesday, Jan. 31, from 10 a.m.-noon.
The cost is $25 with pre-registration and pre-payment required.
Students will learn how oil painting is different from other mediums, the pros and cons of working in this medium and the unique qualities that oil paint can offer.
Types and styles of brushes, different painting mediums and their uses, brushwork, starting a painting and the different approaches to painting will be covered.
No previous experienced required.
All supplies are included in the class cost.
The class is for ages 16 and older.
