OGDENSBURG – Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center is having a pink ribbon challenge, attempting to create the largest human pink ribbon.
People are invited to put on their pink and bring friends to the hospital’s 125th anniversary celebration and National Mammography Day, Friday, Oct. 15 beginning with signup at the Lockwood Arena at 3 p.m., a pink ribbon walk to the hospital’s medical office building parking lot, and an aerial photo of the “ribbon” at 4 p.m.
While at the park, visit the tent to see the Ogdensburg Green Market, the Ogdensburg Education Association’s gift basket raffles, educational presentations and refreshments.
There will also be pink ribbon t-shirts for sale. All proceeds will support local cancer patients through the CHMC Pink Ribbon Challenge and Gouverneur Business Women’s Foundation.
