Ogdensburg library planning several free events in March

OGDENSBURG – The public library, 312 Washington St., has the following free events planned in March.

A PG movie night will be held Thursday, March 15, at 5:30 p.m. Movie Riddle: The title of this film is a synonym for amazement.

A St. Patrick’s Day break-in and scavenger hunt will be staged Saturday, March 17, at 11 a.m. Someone will have broken into the library and left treasure everywhere. Help the staffers clean up and solve the mystery.

The family book club meets Thursday, March 22, at 5 p.m. The group will discuss The Terrible Two by Jory John and Mac Barnett and learn some fun pranks in time for April 1.

The Ninja Egg Hunt will take place Saturday, March 31, at 11 a.m. featuring ninja games.

The library will continue to hold its reoccurring programs. Music and Movement for children from birth to age 5 meets Tuesdays at 10 a.m. in the children’s room. Story Hour will be held on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 10:30 a.m. This session offers early literacy education in the form of stories, games and activities for children 3-5 years old.
