CANTON - Author Brock Clarke, whose 2010 novel Exley is set in Watertown, will speak and read from his work in an appearance at St. Lawrence University Thursday, April 7, at 8 p.m. in the Common Room of Sykes Residence Hall.
The event, part of the St. Lawrence Writers Series, is open to the public, free of charge.
Exley concerns the exploits of a nine-year-old boy in Watertown as he searches for renowned author Frederick Exley, the Watertown-based author of the 1968 book A Fan's Notes, which has an almost cult-like following.
