POTSDAM – For those who might have missed it, or want to again enjoy all the lines that might be fading from their memory, the classic 1987 fantasy film “The Princess Bride” will be shown in the Cinema 10 series at the Roxy on Feb. 26

The movie directed by Rob Reiner tells a sweet and funny bedtime story about the most beautiful woman in the world and the man she loves.

Luke Y. Thompson (New Times LA) said when the movie came out, “You’d better believe the midnight movie crowd will remember almost all of it.”

Peter Bradshaw said in The Guardian when Bride celebrated its thirtieth anniversary this past October, “the wit, fun, charm and idealism are fresher than ever.”

The film is 98 minutes long and rated PG for language, some violence, and blood.

All Cinema 10 films are shown on Monday evenings at 7:15 in the Roxy Theater in Potsdam.

Tickets are $5.50 general admission and $45 per season or $4.50 student/senior and $35 per season.

Cinema 10 is made possible by the New York State Council on the Arts.
