NORWOOD – Meetings to introduce parents to the universal pre-K and kindergarten programs at Norwood-Norfolk Central School are set for Monday, April 4.
An Introduction to Universal Pre-K meeting is at 5 p.m. in the elementary school cafeteria followed by registration from 5:15 to 6 p.m. To be eligible for UPK in September, a child has to be four years of age on or before Dec. 1.
An Introduction to Kindergarten meeting is at 6 p.m. in the elementary school gym followed by registration from 6:15 to 6:45. To be eligible for kindergarten in September, a child has to be five years old on or before Dec. 1. Students enrolled in the UPK program do not have to register for kindergarten.
From April 5 to 8, registration for both UPK and kindergarten will be taken in the elementary office from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day.
The child’s birth certificate, up-to-date immunization record, and proof of residency are required at registration, and bring any required court papers.
