NORWOOD – The third annual Village of Norwood Family Sunset Series offers two more evenings of family art workshops and family-oriented performances Thursday, Aug. 12 and Sunday, Aug. 15 on the Norwood Village Green. The rain site will be the Norwood Municipal building

The family art workshops will be at 6 p.m. and will be offered by Romi Sebald. The performances will be one-hour programs beginning at 7 p.m.

Romi Sebald serves as registrar preparator for the Gibson Gallery, SUNY Potsdam. She has selected three family oriented projects for the dates. For participation please arrive at 5:45 p.m.

• Chris Shaw, Thursday, Aug. 12, with songs and stories. Mr. Shaw has performed world-wide in the past three decades and has created a much respected repertoire of songs and stories representing the rural way of life, and in particular all things Adirondack.

• Animal Crackers, Sunday, Aug. 15, locally organized by Beth Robinson, and using local musicians, the group creates family experiences in music and dance.

These events are made possible, in part, with public funds from the New York State Council on the Arts Decentralization Program, administered in Jefferson, Lewis, and St. Lawrence counties by the St. Lawrence County Arts Council.

The Village of Norwood Family Sunset Series is a program of the Village of Norwood. Admission is free but a free will donation will be solicited and is part of the grant budget.
