POTSDAM -- North Country Children's Museum presents an authors/artists workshop with children's author Leigh Chapman April 2, from 12:30 until 2 p.m.

In this workshop, children have story hour with author/artist Leigh Chapman reading her own books.

Then, they use Chapman's stories as a springboard for their own story and art creations.

Kids will have the chance to write and illustrate a mini book in their own voice.

If possible, come prepared with an idea such as, "My Favorite Day, Ever".

The program will be held at the Clarkson University Bookstore for children grades K-5 and costs $10 per participant.

Register at clear@potsdam.edu or 267-2167.

Walk-ins welcome if space is available.
