NORFOLK -- The Norfolk Rod and Gun Club’s 2013 Junior Archery League starts up on Friday, Jan. 4 at 6 p.m. and runs for 11 weeks.
Members are from four to 17 years old. All juniors should have their own equipment as the club has limited resources.
Annual club membership is $2 for those 15 and under and $10 for 16 and above. There is an initial league fee of $10 and then a $5 charge each Friday to shoot for score.
The league’s aim is to help youngsters become proficient in the sport. Safety is always first and foremost, organizers said.
