NORFOLK -- The first Norfolk Archers Junior League ended recently with a "Fun Shoot" for the young archers.
The awards banquet was held on March 22 with pizza and wings for all the participants.
The league ran from Jan. 4 to March 8 with the archers ranging in age from 7 to 15.
Organizers said they were taught the basic skills to become a proficient archer while always practicing safety.
The league starts on the first Friday in January.
This summer we have two 3-D Fun Shoots July 13 and Aug. 10 and our Annual 3-D shoot Aug. 31 and Sept. 1.
