Norfolk American Legion Riders to host charity run Saturday to benefit Wounded Warrior Program

NORFOLK -- The Norfolk American Legion Riders will host their annual charity ride July 12 at 11 a.m. at the American Legion Hall, corner of St. Rt. 56 and High Street.

The fee is $15 for a driver and $5 for passenger. The evening meal alone will be $10 per person.

Participants can register from 9 to 10:50 a.m.

A luncheon will be available at the first stop.

The route is about 130 miles with return to the post around 4:30 p.m. where there will be food, gamers, poker hand and raffles.

Prizes include a quilt and hotel accommodations and dinner for two.

All proceeds benefit the 10th Mountain Division Wounded Warrior Program.

A rep from the 10th Mountain Division will participate in the ride.
