OGDENSBURG -- The Northern New York Bassmasters Club will hold the 2013 spring scheduling meeting Saturday Jan. 26 at the Dobisky Center at 10 a.m. Registration for club membership for the 2013 season will take place.

The Northern New York Bassmasters Club is made up of anglers from across the North Country and Canada.

Tournaments for the 2013 season will start at Lake Champlain and then continue to local waters, including the St. Lawrence River, Black Lake and Lake Ontario.

Boat limits are five bass, smallmouth and/or largemouth, and anglers can only use artificial lures; live bait is prohibited.

Tournaments are limited to club members, however any teams may join the Northern New York Bassmasters by paying the association's annual dues of $40 per team at the spring meeting Saturday.

The club was founded in 2003 to establish a team tournament series to further the enjoyment of competitive bass fishing.
