MASSENA – The Nicandri Nature Center will host the class “Geology Rocks” on Sept. 20, from 6-7:30 p.m.
Dino Zack, geologist and educator, will teach about different rocks and minerals, as well as about careers in the geology field.
Students will explore the geologic time line and check out samples, including fluorescent minerals.
The event is funded by the New York Power Authority.
