Nextwave, St. Lawrence County’s young professionals organization, invites members and newcomers to mingle and share ideas at the group’s monthly mixer and a board game event.
The “First Friday Meet & Greet” takes place from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Dec. 3, in the bar at The Club, Court Street, Canton.
Then, the group will host “Board Game Saturday” from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 4 in the Potsdam Civic Center. The room can be accessed by going through the police station and up the stairs.
Participants are encouraged to bring a favorite board or card games to share. A hat will be passed to raise money for the Potsdam Holiday Fund.
Newcomers are welcome at both events. Nextwave is a social organization designed to provide opportunities for professional networking and social engagement. The organization aims to make the North Country a more welcoming and vibrant place for young professionals to live, work and play.
