CANTON -- The Northern Light Center, 595 Miner Street Rd., will host Clair Oaks and her band for a musical meditation event Monday, March 28 at 6:30 p.m.
Also known as a kirtan, the event will be part concert, part chanting and part celebration of the Divine. Oaks' particular version of kirtan is a mix of deep, slow melodies and faster rhythms that get your toes tapping and make your heart sing.
Tickets are $25.
In preparation for her visit, a free showing of the movie, “Eat, Pray, Love” will be shown Thursday, March 24 at 6:30 pm. All are invited.
