POTSDAM -- The Miniature Horse Association of Northern New York will bring mini horses to the Tractor Supply parking lot Saturday, June 18 for petting, rides and pictures.
Members of the newly formed club will be on hand from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Tractor Supply is located on U.S. Hwy. 11 across from Walmart.
Aim of the club is to educate and promote the miniature horse breed. Both youths and adults may join and members do not need to own a miniature horse to join.
Anyone that has an interest in the breed or has a mini for a pet, breeding or showing is encouraged to attend.
The club plans other upcoming events and seminars. Membership applications will be available on Saturday for those wishing to join.
