MASSENA -- Ponderosa Steakhouse, St. Regis Blvd. & Main St., will host a benefit for the children of Carol Ann Pelkey.
Pelkey is an employee of the steakhouse. In February, while waiting for the school bus, Pelkey’s three children, Brittany, 19; Scott, 17; and Brianna, 10, were all injured by an out-of- control vehicle.
Saturday, March 23 and Sunday, March 24, the Massena Ponderosa will donate proceeds from all beverage sales to help with the Pelkey family’s mounting medical bills.
“Our heart goes out to Carol Ann and her children,” stated Thomas A. Sacco, president and chief executive officer of homestyle dining, the parent company of Ponderosa.
