MADRID -- The Madrid Dam Summer Music Series continues Aug. 3 from 6 to 8 p.m. for an evening of Christian rock with “Bridge the Divide.”

Looking ahead to Aug. 10, the Brilliant Star Children’s program will be held at 6 p.m.

“Bridge the Divide” is based in Potsdam and was formed in 2013. Members include Aaron, Colin and Kim Reardon, Cullen Haskins and Joshua Marcolina.

Vocals are performed by Colin and Aaron. Aaron also plays guitar with Colin on bass. Kim plays keyboard, Haskins is on drums and Marcolina is on lead guitar.

Bridge the Divide came together in September 2013.

Aaron put the band together when he realized that his brother Colin, wife Kim, and friend Cullen all shared a passion for worshiping God through music.

As the group began to play together it became more and more obvious that God was using this ministry to help build healthy relationships between the Churches and hopefully encourage and increase excitement about what God is doing in Northern New York.

Community Hands-Only CPR Training will be offered at no fee. In 30 minutes attendees can learn the basics to save a life. No certification or experience needed. Start times will be held every 30 minutes from 5 to 7:30 p.m. and is sponsored by Hero’s Haven and Jennifer Collins.

More info, email the band at Contactbtdband@gmail.com.
