POTSDAM – The Look Good...Feel Better program, a free, national service that teaches female cancer patients beauty tips to look better and feel good about how they look during chemotherapy and radiation treatments, is coming to Canton-Potsdam Hospital Monday, July 26 at 4:30 p.m.
The group program, held in the 2nd floor classroom at the hospital, consists of a 90-minute, hands-on workshop with a volunteer beauty professional: skin care/make-up application lesson, demonstration of options for dealing with hair loss, and nail care techniques.
Attendees also use and take home complimentary cosmetic kits.
The program is open to all women living with cancer who are undergoing radiation, chemotherapy or other forms of treatments.
