OGDENSBURG – The Ogdensburg Youth Garden Club and the Frederic Remington Art Museum will host a Lavender and Butterfly Festival Saturday, June 11 from 1 to 4 p.m., rain or shine. The event is sponsored by NCPR.
The Garden Club will be celebrating the new Monarch Waystation they have been working hard to install by inviting friends, family and community members to enjoy art activities and lavender goodies and snacks. This event is free and open to the public.
Come enjoy throwing pottery, creating butterfly mosaics on flower pots, a free watercolor painting class with David Ferry, face painting, lavender refreshments, puppet shows, musical entertainment by the Acoustic Brothers and the Sweet Adelines, and much more.
The museum is at 303 Washington St.
