POTSDAM – Community members are invited to register their children, grades K-6, for the Young People’s Arts Festival at St. Lawrence County Arts Council, 41 Elm St.

Children choose from eight different workshops taught by local artists and art teachers. On June 11, they participate in six of these workshops based on the preferences they indicated on their registration form.

There is a break at lunchtime to play games and explore activities offered by Clarkson University's Occupational Therapy department.

Registration is limited to 80 children. Last year the festival was booked with a waiting list weeks before the registration deadline. The deadline is May 30, with a $25 registration fee per child for the whole day; financial assistance is available thanks to the Stewart's Holiday Match program.
