MASSENA -- Friends of the Robert Moses Nature Center are hosting two events to teach kids about nature.
The Jr. Earth Keepers Club will meet Sept. 13 from 1 to 3 p.m. and learn about butterflies.
They will play outdoor games and then search the woods around the Nature Center for caterpillars, chrysalises and butterflies.
On Sept. 20 from 1 to 5 p.m., the Nature Center will host a "Children of Hope" scavenger hunt fundraiser.
Registration is $5 for kids ages 4 to 12 and $10 for adults.
The first 75 kids will get a grab bag.
There will be prizes and refreshments.
All proceeds will assist the needy in Uganda.
Rain date is Sept. 21 from 1 to 5 p.m.
