POTSDAM -- A walk to remember a loved one hosted by Joanne’s Gift of Love will take place on Saturday, Oct. 15 at Potsdam High School from 8 to 11 a.m.
The cost to participate is $10.
Snacks and drinks will be available and a raffle is planned.
All noncompetitive participants will walk the turf and track.
Joanne’s Gift of Love is a nonprofit organization supporting local organizations and individuals, with donations raised staying in the community.
The foundation was formed after the sudden death of Joanne Bigwarfe of Potsdam, who was principal at Norwood-Norfolk Elementary School at the time of her death following complications from surgery for cancer.
