EDWARDS -- There will be a benefit jamboree Saturday, March 10, starting at 1 p.m. for Nick Valdivez and Joyce Zeller at The Glow, 1095 County Route 23.
Valdivez and Zeller lost their home, belongings, cats and business, TNT Tackle, 1572 State Highway 58, in a fire Jan. 3. The business was not insured, according to local media reports.
The jamboree will feature bands like Ransom, Six Days, Shawn Stoddard, along with raffles, food and more.
All proceeds will go to the couple.
Before the Jan. 3 fire, TNT Tackle carried a vast inventory of hunting rifles, shotguns, ammo, archery supplies, fishing gear and other outdoor supplies. The fire destroyed not only the building which formerly housed the business, but much of the inventory as well.
A kickstarter and fishing derby benefit have been held thus far to help Zeller and Valdivez rebuild.
The couple recently re-opened their bait business at their property across the road from the original TNT shop. The new store at 1585 State Highway 58, offers bait and fishing supplies and is open from 7 a.m.-8 p.m. every day.
