CANTON -- "Nipirasait: Many Voices, Inuit Prints from Cape Dorset," a collection of 36 contemporary Inuit art prints, will be on view in St. Lawrence University's Brush Art Gallery from Jan. 24 to March 9.
The exhibit debuted at the Embassay of Canada in Washington, DC, in July 2010.
Sandra Dyck, curator at the Carleton University Art Gallery in Ottawa, will give a lecture related to the exhibit Monday, Feb. 21, at 4:30 p.m. in Room 123 of the Griffiths Arts Center, titled "'Sometimes the pencil is stronger than I am': The Drawings of Shuvinai Ashoona."
The lecture and exhibit are free and open to the public.
