RENSSELAER FALLS – Participants in “An Introduction to Nature” will stroll through areas of the Indian Creek Nature Center looking for all things wild from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, May 19 with leader Don O'Shea.
Walking at a leisurely pace will allow all to better absorb and enjoy the natural wonders, following 1960s naturalist John Kieran’s advice: “Don't study nature; enjoy it. Study is for the professionals...”
Junior nature enthusiasts ages 8 and up, with adult supervision, are welcome to join the “search party.”
Call O’Shea in advance to register at (315) 393-5137, and meet at the entrance pavilion along County Rt. 14 between Canton and Heuvelton.
