RENSSELAER FALLS -- Indian Creek Nature Center has scheduled a pond exploration and a spring work day for Saturday, April 30.
The pond exploration, from 10 a.m. to noon, features naturalist Pat Burdick showing participants then use of dip nets to capture amphibians and macro invertebrates. They will use magnifiers and field guides to learn about the animals they capture. For more info, contact Burdick at (315) 386-1244.
The work day begins at 8:30 a.m. and continues until noon. Board members will welcome volunteers to set the center in order from the winter. Tools will be supplied, or bring your own. Leader: Roger Hutchinson (315) 386-4795.
