SOUTH COLTON -- The Racquette Valley Fish and Game Club, 233 Cold Brook Dr., has set their ice fishing derby from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Feb. 10.
The event features raffles and door prizes in addition to contest winnings.
Prizes for the northern pike and walleye are, for first place, $100 and a trophy; second and third place, prize and trophy. For the perch competition, first, second and third place winners receive a prize and a trophy.
Fishing will be on Big Bay only, along Cottage Road, Higley Flow.
Pre-registration is available until 8 p.m. Feb. 9 at Boyce's General Store in South Colton or Hannawa Country Store in Hannawa Falls.
Tickets will also be available the morning of the derby at the Fish and Game Club from 7 to 9 a.m.
All New York DEC regulations apply. This is a catch-and-release event. Fish entered must be alive.
Fish entered become club property to be released.
Prizes will be awarded after 5 p.m. at the Fish and Game Club.
The raffles and door prizes are for entrants only.
Food and refreshments will be sold at the building. There are also raffles there.
