POTSDAM -- Hospice and Palliative Care of St. Lawrence Valley will once again host Cutting Edge Dueling Pianos of Baltimore, Md. at the Cheel Campus Center, Clarkson University on Friday, June 1.

“Last year’s event was an overwhelming success, we knew we had to bring it back” said Kellie Hitchman, Director of Development and Community Relations for Hospice. “Our audience of 350 guests had a blast. Events like this are extremely unique in the north country. We are so pleased to be able to offer a great night of entertainment to our community in support of our services.”

Rather than a concert type of atmosphere, this is a fully interactive experience for the audience.

Whether its 50’s, 60’s, 70’s, 80’s, 90’s or current, rap, country, or rock and roll, the performers know virtually any song that comes to mind.

Attendees make requests which steers the direction of the show and comedy is incorporated from the first note until the show ends.

Whether it’s a date night, girls night out or a group of friends getting together, adults of all ages are sure to enjoy this event.

New this year, is a silent auction featuring several trips participants can bid on. Destinations include Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, wine and dine in Tuscany, Cortona, Italy, an Alaskan Cruise, San Francisco and Sonoma, California, roof top passes to Wrigley Field, a Broadway experience in New York City, Fairmont Chateau in Whistler, British Columbia, a world class golf getaway in Hilton Head, South Carolina and accommodations for any Fairmont resort worldwide.

Details on each trip are available at www.hospiceslv.org.

Doors for the show to benefit Hospice will open at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, June 1 with the show kicking off at 7:30 p.m.

Heavy hor d’oeuvres will be served and a cash bar will be available.

Tickets for the show are just $35 and will be available until May 25 or until they sell out.

Tickets must be purchased in advance, they will not be sold at the door.

Reserved tables of 10 are available at a discounted rate of $300.

For more information, contact Samantha or Kellie at Hospice at 315-265-3105.

Tickets may be purchased online by visiting www.hospiceslv.org.

“We are extremely excited to bring this event back to our community” said Kellie Hitchman. “Community support is essential to the care provided to our patients and their families and the many programs we offer to those who experience illness and loss. This is an extremely fun way to support Hospice and those we serve.”
