CANTON -- “Wishbones and Pumpkin Pie: The History and Customs of American Thanksgiving” will be offered Thursday, Nov. 19, from 2 until 4 p.m. at TAUNY, 53 Main St.
The presentation will begin with a brief history of harvest festivals and American Thanksgiving in particular, and a discussion of common and not-so-well-known customs observed around the nation.
The audience will be encouraged to describe their own celebrations and family traditions.
