HEUVELTON – The first ever Heuvelton Snowflake Festival will be held Saturday and Sunday, Jan. 15 and 16.
There will be horse-drawn hayrides.
On Saturday, a chili cook-off will be held at the fire station sponsored by the firemen and auxiliary.
At 1 p.m., a chocolate hunt will be held at Pickens Hall.
At 2 p.m., the Methodist Church will host a sledding and hot cocoa party.
Weather permitting, there will be open ice skating at the rink and a snowman building contest sponsored by the PTA.
On Sunday, breakfast will be served at the fire hall from 8 a.m. to noon. The menu includes eggs, pancakes, sausage, French toast, coffee and juice. The cost is $5 for adults $3 for children.
