GOUVERNEUR -- The Nihanawate Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) will meet Sept. 3 at the Gouverneur Museum, 22 Church St.
The program will begin with a luncheon at noon followed by a tour of the museum and a presentation by guest speaker, Joseph Laurenza.
He is the museum's curator, Gouverneur's village historian and president of the Gouverneur Historical Association.
The chapter meeting will follow.
