CANTON -- The holidays are around the corner and the Canton Church & Community Program is gearing up for this year’s Giving Tree program.
The project will provide clothing, toys and food coupons for families in Canton, DeKalb, Clare, Russell, and Rensselaer Falls.
Applications for families are available at the Church & Community office, 7 Main St. Tags will soon be available at area businesses, churches, banks and college campuses for those who would like to donate unwrapped gifts or money to the program.
Gifts will be picked up by families Dec. 15-16 at the Canton fire station, Riverside Drive.
Volunteers are also needed.
