POTSDAM -- The Community Conversation on Poverty and the North Country Energy Task Force is offering a free training on utility consumers' rights Friday, Jan. 19, from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
The training is intended for anyone who works with consumers facing disconnect notices, late bills, or other issues that may negatively impact their ability to get or maintain electric, gas, telephone, and other utility services.
The training will be led by Richard Berkley, executive director of the Public Utility Law Project of New York (PULP).
The training is free and open to the public, but you must RSVP to reserve your spot at http://utilitytraining.app.rsvpify.com/.
