MASSENA -- The Greater Massena Chamber of Commerce and Dragon Benware, CPAs will host a fraud and embezzlement prevention and detection seminar Thursday, Feb. 7 from 9 to 10:30 a.m.
The seminar will be held at the Massena Community Center, Beach Street.
It is intended for business owners, non-profit executive directors, or responsible government members who have delegated most financial tasks to others; it is not intended for bookkeepers or accounting staff.
The seminar will be presented by Dragon Benware’s Douglas Hoffman, who has been working on estates, taxes, businesses and personal planning for more than 35 years.
Pre-registration is required by noon Feb. 6 with the Massena Chamber office at 769-3525. The registration fee will be $10 for members of the chamber and $20 for non-members. Refreshments will be served.
